Born and bred in Soshanguve, Lebogang Faith is an inspiration to young girls in her community. A big dreamer who attended school at Kgotlelelang Primary School, then completed at Rosina Sedibane Modiba Sports High School. Lebogang pursued her higher education and training at Stellenbosch University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree and completed her BSC Honors.

The 26-year-old beauty queen who works for Unilever South Africa is aiming to be Miss South Africa in 2022. She is not new to the beauty pageant. In 2020, she managed to make it to the top five of the competition.

“I think I am in a better position to win because I have the experience of the 2020 pageant run. I made it to the top five, so there must be something I am doing that is good,” said Lebogang.

Faith’s motivation comes from her community, she always appreciates and has gratitude for that because they always encourage her to aim for greater heights.

In her spare time, she is at the gym, the spa, or sports field training. She believes the future of South Africa is bright and she is excited for what is to come. When asked what her aims and objectives would be if she won Miss South Africa 2022. Lebo said that she decided to enter Miss SA again pageant because she believes in the potential and value of the youth and women of her country. She also said she knows they can create sustaining solutions to the problems facing her communities and Miss South Africa would give her the platform to do that.

Her parents prioritized her education and raised her siblings. Lebo and her older brother helped to raise their two younger siblings, which helped to create an unbreakable bond among all four siblings. She also has a passion for sports, and it comes from when she used to play sports at school. “When I think about family, I think about home no matter where we are,” said Lebogang.

Jane Thabethe, Lebogang’s friend, excitedly and proudly posted on Instagram that she is proud of her best friend and excited for her new journey, she said that Lebo deserves to take the crown and she loves her.

Lebo says what makes her unique is that her perspective is anchored in her hope for her people. She sees potential in a situation that others may see as a dead end. She chooses to believe there is a way around an obstacle when others may turn around. “I believe I have a lot to give this world,” said Lebogang.

Lebo mentioned that her biggest fear is not living up to her potential. She knows she needs to put herself out there and play a part in helping to achieve the world she wants to be part of.

Faith says failures helped her in her achievements because her failure offered her an opportunity to reflect especially on things, she is most passionate about. She believes that she is a better person because of her many failures, and the opportunities she has had to try again. “My reasons for my pursuit are always clearer after failure,” is Lebogang’s favourite quote and she lives by it.

Lebogang Faith shows that if you want to achieve what you are passionate about you should not give up because of the first failure, you should try again and give it your best.
