Reckless polo vivo driver crashes

On  the 14th of may 2021 there was a car accident near the Soshanguve crossing mall on the Ruth first road street and the Umphata Street . The models of the car were Toyota Yaris  which was black in color and a Polo Vivo which was white in color . Soshanguve residents who  witnessed the accident taking place claim that  the white polo vivo was coming from the Ruth first road Street driving with high speed  and that is when it hit the the black Yaris .

In the Yaris  there was a  family of 5 there was a 12 year old girl ,an 18 year old teenager a 6 year old little boy sitting from the back sit of the car in front  there was a 45 year old wife  and a 50 year old husband . A 23 year old was driving the white Polo Vivo car  model. Fortunately the three children did not get injured but the father got injured in the left leg because he was the one who was driving , the children and the mother  were in shook of what had just happen to them .

Another Soshanguve female  resident Nelisiwe Matlala went to the accident road scene and started praying for the injured  husband , the  police came and told her that she must leave the scene because what she is doing is inappropriate . I asked her what was the reason for her to go the scene and she said "God is the only person that can save this injured man because he is the creator of all things he knew before the accident happened that it was going to happen."

I also asked another citizen Kgaogelo Malope how he saw the accident happening he said  "the white polo vivo indeed was driving with a very high speed and it is not the first time I am seeing a polo vivo car being driven like this because polo vivo owners think they own the road which is why the accident happened, But another factor that caused the car accident to happen is the not working traffic lights which were destroyed by the community members who were striking during the week." He concluded by saying they should also pay for the damages they caused.

The  driver said he wanted to tell his side of story . He told us that the reason why he was driving in high speed was because his daughter was having a seizure and he wanted to get her to the hospital as fast  he could ."I did not think that driving so fast would make me hit another car like this and I deeply regret for causing the damages and I accept that I was the wrong because I was driving recklessly little did I know that I am endangering a whole family and I apologize sincerely I hope that the family would forgive me and I am willing to pay for all the damages I have caused."
